This patch is here (if ever) somebody is willing to share the full game version 1.01 (and so forth) including all available DLC's due to sheer amount of updated files within the Data folder (13.8 GB) and new ones, so till then...

**Instructions, follow these steps**:
- After download is finished (mute your volume or lower it trust me) open the **setup.exe** within the **Update folder** (of course make sure your anti-virus is off or allow exemption)
- Target the patch to where ever you've placed the **Atelier Ryza game folder** it will verify prior to this then be ready to install. It will take a lot of time patching 13.8 gigs worth
- Once it's finished go back to the **main patch folder** locate the **CODEX folder** and drag and drop (or copy) all 8 files to the **Atelier Ryza game folder** and overwrite them
- That's it
If this is your first time open the **Atelier_Ryza_Launcher.exe** to setup your commands via **Settings**. If playing on the keyboard only make sure to **Enable Mouse Settings** and go to **Start Game** when all set.
After the cutscene is over you should receive a DLC. For more DLC enter your house (it's behind you or from your starting point if somewhat new) and go upstairs. To use some of them go to your diary located in that same room. Enjoy.

It was working as is without me installing this. But I didnt have the option to use my mouse without this update. Which is what gave me this error.
^ Just in case you didn't see my comment on the other Ryza (since it was deleted) I got the same error due to not following the instructions. You gotta go to the codex folder and get all the stuff there and overwrite the ones in the Ryza folder. It should work as normal.
Just check the only box to have it automatically copy the contents of the CODEX folder to the root game folder, you don't have to manually copy them yourself, this option is always available on CODEX releases that require cracks.
This is never necessary: `Once it’s finished go back to the main patch folder locate the CODEX folder and drag and drop (or copy) all 8 files to the Atelier Ryza game folder and overwrite them`.
