Encoded the movie Initial D - Third Stage into high quality MKV h.264 format with English, and Japanese audio, along with English Subtitles as well.
This is a stabilized version of the Third Stage movie. What that means is the video screen will jerk around a lot less.
If you watch the Third Stage movie, you will notice the entire screen jerks around ever so slightly all the time when it is supposed to be still. This is meant to happen when they are being shown driving in their cars, but it is not meant to happen everywhere else. This is very frequent, very distracting, and very annoying.
I went through this movie frame by frame and stabilized only what was meant to be, so the inside car driving scenes did not get affected by the stabilization.
I personally prefer and recommend watching this version over the one in the batch 1080p torrent. The only reason I did not put it in the complete 1080p batch torrent is the side effect of stabilizing meant 2 pixels had to be cropped off the sides of the video to get rid of black bars that get introduced from the stabilizing. (This is practically nothing and unless told about it, you most likely wouldnt notice at all)
I find this version superior to watch if you cant stand all that jerking around the screen does otherwise. I only left the unstabilized version in the complete 1080p batch, so those who go nuts over a tiny bit of cropping wouldn't have it to whine about.
For playback all you need is the proper codec or media player if you don't already have it.
Combined Community Codec Pack or the K-Lite Codec pack should give you all you need and more to play these back.
If you do not wish to install a codec pack, a modern Media Player such as MPC-HC or VLC Media Player should come bundled with everything you need.
