Hi I'm Glenn and here's the first episode of "Please Take My Brother Away"'s third season, or the 37th episode overall. The video is a webrip that I've resampled from 29.997 FPS to 23.976 FPS, but honestly I don't know if I should do that or not. Please tell me if I shouldn't since I haven't looked up much on video stuff. :) PS: the OP is sung in Chinese so unfortunately that is left untranslated.

oh god bless you, friend
Thanks! I was hoping someone was going to pick this one up.
virtually no anime is 30 fps so that was probably a wise idea
Sweetness ?? thanks

You're supposed to use TDecimate/VDecimate or ffmpeg/mpv decimate filter to drop frames in a more proper way instead of whatever you did. Yeah I'll probably stick with raw webrips in the future, I don't know the slightest about encoding and this show actually seems to be native 30 anyway (judging from various web and tv sources).
Glad to see you back.
> this show actually seems to be native 30 anyway (judging from various web and tv sources) No, it's definitely 24fps throughout the whole episode (this episode at least). 24fps anime gets converted to 60i or 30p because Japanese HDTV is always 60i and web streams somehow suffer because of it as well.

I see. I tried the ffmpeg decimate filter and it looks better now. Thanks for the help.
