@surume the 18+ is the older version. This is a remake of that one but this time around it's an all age version no 18+

No need to install. Run launcher.exe = It won't load game and it will just open up Steam. It works open up game with SmartSteamLoader.exe

With how STEAM have been lunatics regarding censorship and deleting VN's I like to also know what fatlosergay said. If it is uncensored then the only concerning matter for me is the translation to this game and how much localization they (Chunsoft) may of destroyed to release it for an English speaking audience. @superelmo What about this one, http://spike-chunsoft.com/YU-NO/8bit-adv ? Is it also available or was it only for Nintendo Switch Thanks btw superelmo been waiting on this one too.

So I am having a very unique problem. Whenever there is a cg and someone is speaking the part of their face that is moving (so the lip flaps when they are talking) appears in a different part on screen. It's very weird and I'm not sure what could be causing this. Anyone else having this issue?

It is due to the image quality selected, it changes to medium quality in settings

I would advise folks to play the original one that SomaHeir linked to if this is your first time playing the VN or even after playing the remake. Not talking to filthy casuals of course but to real fans. Maybe the anime will make more sense to ya.

I actually done watching anime and currently enjoy reading this Remake. Quality is really good thought, not sure how it is like on original one. Yes Steam is uncensored.

So, this is "Remake" version, is all ages and no sexual content. The game keeps crashing. I am using "YU NO A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World-CODEX" and it seems that version is working perfectly NFO: https://i.imgur.com/haujpls.png

Pretty sure the version is not the cause of the crashes, at least not for everyone. The only bugs I heard of are "game become unresponsive when playing on Ryzen CPUs" and "issue where, in full screen mode, character mouth animation would be off-center for some users". It’s not crashing for me at all. It’s possible that you had corrupted files or something to do with your firewall/anti virus program blocking the SmartSteamEmu. And, yes, this is the “all ages”(17+) Remake. It is forbidden to upload adult content(porn) on this site.

@Blackbird, you are wrong! You all wrong. I have Steam Version on Steam and Steam Version is remake. Remake of YU-NO doesn't have 18+ content. Only original game. Buy the game and see your self!

Mages made the remake and removed all the 18+ Scenes the original had (sex scenes mainly) in the Ps4, Switch and PC version. There are specific CGs (unrelated to the sex scenes) that was left in the PS4 and Switch version that did end up being censored, but was unaltered on the PC. They were simply body shots being blocked with fog or a sunray. So basically there were two layers of censorship: All the sex scenes/h-scenes were removed in all versions (so yeah, censored on all platforms by Mages) and then some explicit scenes were censored on the Switch and Ps4 (not sure who was in charge of censoring the latter). Anime version from moozzi2 has better quality than this game ;D But I like Manga more than game or anime. Manga is a way different

No need to redownload. Just Force Re-Check the torrent and you'll know if you have corrupted files. There's a bug in this version: "game become unresponsive when playing on Ryzen CPUs”. If you're not playing on Ryzen CPU, then try to run as admin.

My problem still persists after force-checking and not indicating any corrupt files. And no, I'm on i7. I tried running SmartSteamLoader as admin but to no avail. I don't know if we could run "Start Game" inside the loader as admin though nor do I know how to do it.

It is possible that you have problems with SmartSteamEmu. Try the CODEX version: https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5785684 I think they don't use SmartSteamEmu to run the game in their release.

This is the best version for the original superelmo https://sukebei.nyaa.si/view/2641259 not the one you've linked to. That one is not up to date. There seems to be an update to this game 3 of them to be exact as you've mentioned already some Ryzen CPU's were crashing but seems it kept doing it and Chunsoft had to do it 3 times. The last one was provided on Oct 10, 2019. https://steamcommunity.com/games/912450/announcements/detail/3033663089159610179 I'm on a ryzen so dunno if this'll effect me or not.
