Dual-audio release featuring my own 1080p encodes and modified Commie subtitles. I restyled the dialogue, retimed some lines, tweaked the typesetting and added romaji to the OP and ED. I made a few edits as well to the lyrics, signs and dialogue. The JPBD looks decent. It's a somewhat sharp 720p upscale, which - even after being rescaled - still shows a fair amount of aliasing and haloing. On the bright side, there's not much noise to deal with and the banding is easy to manage. As far as filtering goes, I did rescaling, anti-aliasing, dehaloing, adaptive denoising, debanding and adaptive grain. 1080p elements were processed separately. Since the show features several Chinese characters, hardsubbed kanji dialogue is visible in the JPBD whenever these characters are speaking Chinese. Luckily, the USBD does not feature any of this hardsubbed dialogue, so I took the time to dehardsub everything (unlike other releases, it seems), allowing for improved timing, proper dialogue placement and a better watching experience. The English dub actually features Chinese voice-acting as well, so naturally there will be some dialogue present in the Signs & Songs tracks.
