Was shifting the subs downward intentional? It's lower than the typical "default" location in most other releases. There's also no chapters for season 2. Why didn't you take the chapters from pls' season 2 release? :( I'd also probably would have kept Kantai as an alt or secondary default track since FFF didn't finish it for TL consistency for that season. Also seems ReinForce's encode is oversharpened compared to FFF? Here's a quick png compare, same frame, for S1 ep 13. Liz to Aoi is also missing chapters. I also liked the blue stylizing in ChannelOrange's original edits to match the movie look and the line breaks are better -- avoiding subs stretching across the entire screen, but that's probably more of a personal peeve.

@Mabby There is no "default" location, it's personal preference. I don't like my subs half way on the screen, so that's why they're lower. Regarding the chapters, I don't care bout it. Regarding video/audio: I choose ReinForce cuz I prefer consistency (over different releases mixed together). And except that I changed the font, I didn't do much to linebreaks in any of the seasons/movies/specials, so thats that. Maybe i'll update the S1 OVA when I feel like it. Or adjust it yourself (because critizing is easy, but making your own release alone is another story)

Except there is a default position that isn't half way up the screen. You have to intentionally lower it. If you check other releases that don't touch the position, most subs share the same standard line height set by the video player or aegisub's numpad style alignment. It's not the fault of the subs if your video player has wacky settings -- use MPV. Changing it comes unnatural when you have to read at the bottom of the video, lower than what your muscle memory is use to from every other release... You may not care about chapters, but others do. There's no reason not to include it when it was present in the releases you took the subs from. People do use chapter markers to skip ahead of OP/EDs. You claim to want consistency, but you took consistency away. There's also no point in using the same encode group if the encode has problems and there are better raws available. You may not have touched line breaks, but lowering the font size did unintentionally break up the natural splits. If you compared ChannelOrange with your release, you'll notice your styling edits have long subtitles running across the entire screen in a single line. And while criticism does come cheap, I wouldn't really consider taking the work of other release groups, just changing out the default track font, and slapping it on to a remux of a different encode all that hard. If you are afraid of criticism, don't release publicly. I care about quality definitive releases for archival purposes and I'm sure there are others that do too. Edit: Also your "updated OVA" sub download is missing fonts.

@Mabby You actually thought I literally meant "half way" on screen? Wow..... Yes ofcourse it's intentional, I don't like them that high. If your brain can't handle subtitles somewhat lower than you're used to, that's your problem. Btw, I do this stuff for my own sake. The reason I publicly release it, is because I know other people might like it as well. And concerning how "hard" it is to make releases, I was talking in general. And I don't completely agree that it was just a remux. I actually spend more time redoing the S2 specials than remuxing everything. But hey, if you say I just slapped it on there, you're probably right ( < sarcasm, in case you didn't pick up on that ). And well saying "there are better raws", you may be right, but I like ReinForce and it's definitely good enough for most people. And again, about the chapters, there's indeed no reason not to include them, but why would I add them if I don't use them myself ( like I said before, I don't do this for others, but for myself ). Besides, some of the shows probably got chapters cuz they were already in the files embed, and other's probably don't have them because, if I had to guess, I cba to add them. @ToishY Thanks a bunch for the batch. I certainly appreciate your efforts. =) This and your K-On batch are excellent. @doomedfreak The recap movie of Season 2 is certainly worth a watch. There are scenes/emphasis on Asuka, which weren't in the original S2 episodes.

I'm sorry, I was downloading it and suddenly my qbittorrent crashed, and after relaunching, it didn't see the download or all the other shows seeding. I'm gonna fix the crashing and seed this on 2 different pcs

this is why fansubs are dying, people are too lazy to put effort into it or put effort into the wrong parts and not, it's not hard work when it probably took more time to download everything since most of the stuff is just copy&paste

@Mabby thanks a lot for that comparison. Looks like OP has a habit of using garbage raws. He is using ReinForce and Moozzi for his releases which are literally the worst raws for anything.
