Second attempt ever at doing a sub for an Anime, so do not expect perfection ;).. Thankfully, [Mushin] had done the hard work with the timing and initial translations. Thanks!
This is my attempt to redo the machine translated subtitles for the release: [Mushin] Strike the Blood OVA III - 07 (BD 720p x264 Hi10 AAC).mkv. As some of the other posters said, it was rough to enjoy , due to how it was translated. I attempted to get it back into normal spoken English. I do not want to complain too much, as even a machine translation was better than none, and do thank [Mushin] for the hard work done. I did this more to see if I could do it, and also to be able to relax while watching the episode and not figure out what the subs were trying to say.
When in doubt (or complete confusion) I left the machine translations in place, but this should at least tide people over until a final HQ release is completed.
Rename the .ass file to match whatever you have named the [Mushin] release to, and choose external subtitle, instead of the internal one, and you should be good to go.
@herkz I am assuming that the timing, and the fact that some of the names matched the manga instead of the anime implied that there was a little bit of QC done. I could be wrong, but either way, it was more than I had initially. A raw would just make me cry :)
@kaiserstar1 I dont know Japanese. I was just loosing my mind on the machine subs. Also I am not a real subber. If the pieces had not been already there I probably would not have been able to do this re-sub.
I think [Lean-subs] or people like him are the ones that can do real subs. You might ping him and see if he is interested in the project
Just using the timing would of been fine not the other part concerning the "translation" is not man. And yes you are wrong.
I'm hoping stuff like this is not discouraging the folks who were subbing this (or somebody new interested in this series) from providing a real translation.
[edit] nvm LeanSubs will continue to sub this, so wait on him/her.
>I will eventually get back to subbing this. I just moved to a new country and I don’t have internet at home yet.

@noZA_ Understood. I was not trying to put down any of the original work at all. It was a hell of a lot more than I could accomplish. And I REALLY do not want to discourage people from doing the subs. The notes from the original stated (I think) to post improvements. It was kind of hard to tell since the notes appeared to be translated to English as well.
I think your time is more valuable if it was from an actual translation (official or fansub) then coming from a machine translation. For instance the DanMachi Orion no Ya Movie had official subs that may of needed editing. Maybe a TLC as well.
