I'm a bit confused nowadays xD Can you tell me wich of them are your final versions of Dragon Ball Z? Thanks :D
Do you plan to add Ocean audio right up until the end of the Boo arc?
That wasn't the "Ocean Dub" but rather the Westwood dub cast. I do wish it had been the Saban dub up until the end of the Z series. The Saban dub and Ron Wasserman score were both fantastic. Tbh, the censored episodes didn't bother me as I would watch it for the dub.
Not sure if you plan on doing the movies or not, but apparently the new Blu-ray audio, despite being lossless, is worse than the Dragon Box DVD audio. Supposedly the mixing is worse. Something to potentially keep in mind. Also, if you are doing the movies, will you be using the Amazon digital version as the source? Toei decided to "Funimationify" the Blu-ray release.

@Diogo_23 These episodes are all exactly the same as I previously released, except for two of them, as mentioned above. My original plan was to do smaller groups of episodes, and then one big "season" batch that collects everything together, and keep those seeded forever. But I went faster then I thought on the Freeza episodes and so there were only two releases before the batch. Now that I know what I'm doing (which I didn't when I did the first Saiyan batch a year ago) everything I release from now on should be definitive with no need for v2s. @SylentEcho I've said before that I'll look at the Westwood dub, but it's kind of a quality mess and it might be a pain to sync up, so if it takes up too much time I won't do it. Quality wise it's really not the same as the older Ocean dub even if most of the voices are the same. @Damned Ergiman's release is pretty definitive as far as the movies go for now: https://nyaa.si/view/1145208 I could possibly encode them to get rid of some of the file size bloat and re-do the track labels and add in the edited Saban/Ocean track for movie 3. I could also use the singles audio for the FUNi dub in addition to the Remastered dub since there are differences between them. But that would be after I finish the series, which is some time from now. For the TV specials I'll use the HDTV broadcast video that have been posted here, with broadcast audio and the same assortment of English tracks.
Alright, sounds good. Here is a post over from Kanzenshuu, a Dragon Ball enthusiast forum, explaining why the BD audio is inferior... https://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=42442&start=1000 "Actually, the Blu-ray audio of the classic 17 movies is heavily flawed. There's a noticible increase in noise compared to the Laserdisc and Dragon Box audio, and Toei tries to compensate by muting completely silent moments. The Japanese laserdisc audio is best for the movies with mono mixes. For movies that never had laserdisc releases or are in Stereo, the Dragon Box audio is your best option (at least for DBZ Movie 13). The reason for this is that the laserdiscs tend to have an isolated score option. With the mono movies, one stereo channel is the isolated score and the other is the main audio mix. With the stereo movies, or at least DBZ Movie 13, apparently both channels are used for the isolated score track, with the main audio mix being analog. I could be wrong on some things but that's the jist of it." EDIT: To follow up on the above, DBZ movie 13 and DB movie 4 are stereo, the rest are mono. So according to that poster, the best audio source for DBZ 1-12 would be Laserdisc audio and for DBZ 13 / DB 1-4 (DB 1-3 never got a Laserdisc release.) Dragon Box - The Movies DVD audio. Here is a lossless torrent of Laserdisc audio... https://nyaa.si/view/1092874 I have 1:1 copies of Dragon Box - The Movies DVDs, so if you can't find untouched audio for that source, PM me.

There are lots of arguments back and forth about whether the LD or BD audio is better, both from that thread and Ergiman's upload. One of the comments here mentions that the BD is superior: https://nyaa.si/view/1143071#com-48 Honestly I haven't actually listened to either yet, so if and when I get to the movies I'll probably have to listen to both and make a judgement for myself. Thanks for the input, though.
hey, what happened to the Seed of Might discord server? i seem to have been kicked
@thepunisher its still up its invite only now i had to re join a few months back
@Annihilater1985 would you mind sending me an invite?
So I just figured out you can't PM people. I guess I doesn't matter if I could though, since I just permanently lost my 1:1 copies of Dragon Box - The Movies DVDs, with absolutely no way of ever getting them back. Oh well.

@thepunisher I have the link I used to join the server in the info box at the top, I'd assume it still works. @Damned Yeah about a year ago my drive crashed and I had to re-acquire everything, so I get that. I have rips, not full discs though, or else I'd help you out.
@iKaos, Thanks fot the explanation! Can you give a list of your final releases, please? :D Just to check if i have them all :P Thanks!!!

@Diogo_23 Right now, just this one and the Saiyan episodes of your choice (levels or DBOX) are definitive. New Namek release should be coming within a week or so. Links are at the top.
Okay, thanks! ;)
@iKaos what's going on in DB Seed of might project discord? is it worth getting in for some exclusive downloads or is it just for creators, uploaders etc.. Coz I'm a consumer only.I could just donate as I did for few other uploaders.
@iKaos Do you also plan on adding the Edited FUNimation Dub (1999-2003) DUB? It was featured in the original Toonami/Cartoon Network Broadcast and the Edited VHS Singles since there are differences between the Edited and the uncut DVD/VHS singles DUB such as different dialouge's in some parts of certain episodes, some parts of the score are switched in around in certain episodes, the narrator change happens earlier in the Uncut DVD/VHS singles DUB (it happens during the Cell Games) then in the Edited DUB (It happens in the in the Buu Arc) and some scenes are toned down a little or are completely cut (such as the Muten Roshi being a pervert scenes) i hope you can find a good source for this dub since its incredibly Rare.
@tomux123x It is mostly for creators, uploaders etc... since I got kicked from that server for being a consumer only.
Please seed <3
