This is the pilot for the series Mirrorman It was directed by Seiji Tani, who was a second-unit and assistant director on several Ishiro Honda films (examples: Space Amoeba, Latitude Zero, Destroy All Monsters) and starring Toshio Shiba who was the uncle in Godzilla vs Hedorah and titled character in the 1971 series Silver Kamen. Along with him is J-Pop Idol Saori Minami. The pilot was created to advertise the series, premiering to the Momoi Elementary School. 70 Students were given a survey on what they liked about it. Only 40% liked what they saw, and out of the 23% of kids that knew of Ultraman, not even half of them liked Mirrorman more.
