There's a translation error in the subs: In episode 17, 7min,25 seconds Kana (without clothes) doesn't ask the MC to 'hug her' ... 抱く ("daku") has 2 meanings. Anyway, it's pretty rare for a woman to say 'hug me' to a man after they've come of a certain age. It usually is meant the other way. In this case Kana not wearing clothes should make it obvious enough :D If a woman actually wanted to (only) be embraced by a man, she'd say "dakishimete" (https://jisho.org/search?utf8=✓&keyword=dakishimeru) That way it'd be pretty clear what is meant and it also conveys affection. I doubt there's any japanese woman in modern times who'd say 'daite' to a man and mean "hug me" (especially if they're alone together in a room... with a bed).
