It’s been clear all along that Nande Koko is doing more censoring than anyone else this season.
Earlier on, there were all sorts of accusations in the comments concerning the censoring and stuff happening in Japan in regard to international sports or some such, but it seemed pretty far fetched to me.
My guess is that they are doing it as part of the humor; the whole story is silly to begin with, tossing in such over-the-top censoring to me just adds to the silliness.
It’s not like we don’t have functioning imaginations and can’t figure out what’s being “hidden”.
The chalkboard is a particularly nice touch in my mind. What with it being teachers & students.
It’s clear a lot of thought went into it. It’s not an afterthought.
