How is this 10 bit while the latest BDRip (https://nyaa.si/view/1145978) is 8 bit??

you know this team messes with the video so i don't know if i would trust it. not to mention cleos releases are usually blocky if i remember correctly even when it says 10bit 8bit, ill post comparisons soon.

They just used 10bit settings to encode 8bit vidoe.. It's just still is a 8bit video even after encode..

@torrentguy Your statement is pretty stupid considering every BDMV (or remux) will obviously be 8bit. This (along with 80% of the torrents uploaded to nyaa) are in 10bit just to save space (although rather meager) and to help a little with banding/dithering. http://x264.nl/x264/10bit_02-ateme-why_does_10bit_save_bandwidth.pdf

@torrentguy And this is a mHD that means it's bit starved. This is for those who wants low size because of various reasons like low bandwidth, low storage space etc. It will look fine on mobile or small screen monitor.

@torrentguy @keepayo12 Basically 8-bit has 256 values per colour channel whereas 10-bit has 1024. Thats 4 times the value. Hence more colours to work with which gives better precision i.e reducing banding and saving space (just a bit though), which is why its common to see an 8-bit video encoded to 10-bit. Dont comment on quality when u havent checked whats in it. Also this is mHD and targeted at a certain audience. If u want "best" quality u can go for the BD Remux itself (https://nyaa.si/view/1145978)

Here's a fansubbed/edited ASS Stylized subtitle track for the movie w/ fonts with all dub terms removed. The only problem is that someone needs to time the lines properly as they are out of sync. These are the best subtitles for the movie that exist right now.
