NO GREEN TINT!!! I bet Americans wish they didn’t fight for independence now. God bless the British Empire.
I have a question regarding the MovieObject.bdmv file.
This file contains instructions that check the region or country code. I dragged and dropped MovieObject.bdmv into "bd-region-check" on GitHub and it shows that the BDMV is region free.
Was MovieObject.bdmv modified in any way?
EDIT: I see the uploader is anonymous. Never mind then.
@scav
well it wasn't manually touched, but Blu-rays are protected from ripping/copying too, so common sense tells me that the decryption in a ripping process will probably automatically get rid of region locks too.
@enibba
Depends on the software used. MakeMKV doesn't remove the region code from the backup, but as @SeBoL86 mentioned, AnyDVD appears to be able to strip it away. Some BDMV on nyaa still retain the original region info.
Some screenshots... no green tint, thank goodness:

Now we need people spamming screenshots of the UK Blu-ray to the social accounts of Funimation, so those motherfuckers at least have the decency to acknowledge at last that the green tint is a serious issue of the US release and not an issue of the people having "poorly calibrated screens".
@ principeinquisidor
You think FUNimation cares? They were heavily criticized for the crappy 30th Anniversary Blu-ray release of Dragon Ball Z and they just double down again, and again.
@principeinquisidor
They said what?! Someone hold me or else I'M GONNA... I'M GONNA FUCKING BREAK SOMETHING!!! AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!~~
...
On a different note, thank you to the uploader for this early release. This is indeed the work of a true Saiyan warrior.
Is this untouched? The US Bluray released by HAIKU is 43.40 GB, this is 32.5 GB... There can't be 10 GB worth of difference in a release just because of a region change and the removal of a green filter.
In theory, there could, but this is just because of dummy sectors, probably.
Sometimes, when you just run a Blu-Ray through MakeMKV, it becomes as much as 10GB smaller, even.
@Super_Saiyan_Lusitano
Yes, I know very well the type of shit they are and the things they have done, so yeah, they will continue to live as nothing happens and they will only react if someone starts a lawsuit against them or the people start importing a non-US version so the US version goes completely unsold, but I have doubts if some of those two scenarios will happen. But well, with the spam attack let them feel as much pain as possible.
@SoulBurner
They did not use those words, but they were heavily implied when they said on the following statement:
"Funimation's home entertainment release of “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” utilized the same master as the U.S. & Canadian movie release. It is identical to what audiences watched in North American theaters earlier this year"
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-05-07/funimation-responds-to-reports-of-green-tint-on-dragon-ball-super-broly-film-bd/.146482
So the only conclusion I could take is that the problem with the green tint has been happening since they made the masters for the cinema showing or on some inconceivable way they fucked up the Blu-ray masters without knowing it, but still, this release should have gone under a PQ assessment where the green tint should have been detected as a pretty obvious problem, but it seems they preferred to brush it off and try to past it under the radar of the buyers, but they failed miserably and now they are trying to deny the problem as best as they can, even if their lies are pretty obvious.
Still, it would be nice if someone writes a good subs track and sync it to the Toei release, because I expect the Toei release having a much higher bitrate than the UK release, basically they could cram it up to eleven and still got space left.
@SaotomeZ
show me the screenshot where I said I had problems? because i don't remember; i didn't have any issues. You could've asked me that question on discord if you're there.
@Dexidious
Like Super_Saiyan_Lusitano just told you, the American version has a lot of extras that the UK release doesn't. If you check the file size of the movie only on the US BD, you'll see it's similar file size.

As you see it's ~32GB too.
I'm maybe making a dumb question here but how do I play this movie? It's not .mp4 or .mkv or some other formats. And there's bunch of files not one specific file.
Unless you have Mega premium, you're gonna get capped all the time after you download 6GB or something.
Just leave your PC on and let it download. My seedbox is on 24/7 seeding this, so you'll be able to get it all eventually. Your connection with my seedbox is probably weak, but I'll keep it on for a long time.
It's more like after 5GB and then you have to switch to another IP/VPN or restart your router (not really recommended) in order to keep downloading. I've got a VPN active 24/7 so the MEGA restriction isn't an issue for me.
OMER, sometimes when you, I or someone is downloading at slow speeds is possibly due to closed or blocked torrent ports.
I'm seeding my GT DVD-REMUX torrent at 1 MiB/s so it's a matter of the user and his ISP package and the ports.

This is from U2 by Enigmo.
He mentions there he used DVDFab. If that helps any. I have no clue if DVDFab removes region locking or not.
Here's a fansubbed/edited ASS Stylized subtitle track for the movie w/ fonts with all dub terms removed. The only problem is that someone needs to time the lines properly as they are out of sync. These are the best subtitles for the movie that exist right now. Hopefully someone can download it and put it to the Japanese BluRay.

KaiDubs, I was wondering if you could give the full URL to that torrent website. That would be really helpful to me. Thanks!

Added 2019-04-14, so no. That's USBD. UKBD came out 5/27, JP 6/02 I think. So that's a USBD Remux.

U2 is a private tracker. So it wouldn't really be helpful if you're not on it.
