envy and fake "love:"

it's amazing i saw a camrip nowadays. i remember the last time i saw an anime camrip was in the 90s. aah nostalgia time.

@colonel30 Funimation, the NA distributors, have done a really poor job of trying to get this movie into theaters... It premiered 4 months ago, and the BD will be out in about another 3... In the meanwhile, the only acknowledgment of this movie coming to NA was a passing comment from the studio during a Q and A session at a con... and no news since. In comparison, the newest Hibike! Euphonium movie came out less than 2 weeks ago, and NA screenings have already been announced. Aqours' next concert is in a month and is specifically themed around the songs from this movie... Most of the fans attending from NA won't have seen the film before they fly out. I guess camrips still have their place even today...

Being NA fan is suffering. When a camrips comes out before any official NA screening.

@eggtart The North American love live licensing is all messed up. 1 company with the muse arc anime rights, another with the Aqours arc rights and another with the live screening rights. The music from the movie, and related bundled songs, which 5th live is likely to be based around, have been available since before the movie premiered. The first 3 movie singles were released the week after 4th live. 4th live BD released the week before 5th live. movie BD/DVD released mid July (pre orders close late June). US/Canada popped up on the movie release list on the official love live site in Feb, then got removed a few days later. It's possible it will get screened at AX.

Camrip? I wouldn't watch Avengers: Endgame as a camrip, let alone an anime movie! LOL

@D44 the quality is really good, there isn't even crowd noise, it's like the one who recorded it wasn't even in the theater there's no movement of the camara and it gets out of focus just for 30s in all the movie, I also hate camrips but the quality of it, made an exception and I really enjoy it

@himeno Yes I agree. AX screening definitely feels possible. But AX this year is a big mess too. Virtually no announcements so far but they still keep increasing badge prices. @eggtart AX is always a big mess. The staff have no idea what they are doing. The higher ups don't care about the stupidity of their staff or the amount of people who stop going because of how bad the event is because they know that the amount of new people going will at least balance out the amount of people who won't go anymore. I've gone to AX the last 4 years (have seen Aqours each time they've been). Each year has gotten worse. Not going this year, in part due to winning 5th live tickets.

Cam quality about 6 or 7/10 with occasional blurring from scene changes. Overall, not a bad choice if you can't wait for the official release on 7/26.

Can someone upload the original Japanese subtitle file because there is so called official sub which were BD rip with no modification as they said https://nyaa.si/view/1161894. But I noticed there are several mistranslations especially on the post credits and Love Live wikia totally misunderstood as they incorrectly post it on their web. I have to make some corrections as soon as possible.:(
