Found some small typos in episode 1, 2, and 3.

In episode 1 at the very end Carol’s name is spelled Carol Malus Dienhelm rather than Carol Malus Dienheim, as it’s supposed to be. This error is repeated in episode 2 as it’s part of the recap before the OP.
In episode 3 Elfnein is said to be a homonculus. The correct wording is homunculus.

I’m not sure if these errors appear in future episodes as well, nor if there are more errors, as I’m only on episode 3. I’ll leave another comment if I find any others.

why?

Most likely because gender and sex are not necessarily interchangeable and in this instance the word “sex” was more appropriate—but this is just pure speculation on my part as I haven’t watched any episodes from this yet.

For example one may be born with male sex organs, but their gender identity is female. At this point, the word “gender,” in many cases, has become a well accepted oxymoron.

Also, keep in mind, using the word “gender” interchangeably with the word “sex” will likely make any SJW you converse with incredibly butthurt.

it’s the definition of the word in modern day, we as a society have chosen to make this distinction because it’s actually of use.
That and the distinction is supported by a large variety of psychological and medical institutions.
