nobody can hardware decode 12 bit HEVC. it's not automatically better.

Doesn't automatically make it worse, either. Hardware decoding support traditionally takes forever. I'd rather use a computer than have to wait forever for new hardware or updates to existing hardware.

works fine for me. using updated klite. also used on my sony x70f 4k tv using usb and it plays flawlessly buy a new tv
