i just got koten version like 1 minute ago LOL

I have Koten’s encode as well, so which one is better I wonder? This release has a smaller file size overall, but the image quality based off of the screenshots looks exactly the same to me.

From looking very closely at the screenshot comparison labeled “1821”. it seems like your release has slightly more detail. If you pay close attention to the right corner of the wall, you’ll notice that Koten_Gars’ release looks slightly blurred somewhat in comparison. I’m not very knowledgeable about video encoding, but is this the product of slightly de-noising the source to reduce film grain?
