ok, which chapter in manga that the anime left off?

her being confronted by the principal and her resigning are ch's 63 & 64 ... I have not see the ep yet so I don't know how much more is covered ... but I did a quick look at the manga I have and found the ep's opening scene of Hina in front of the principal getting questioned about the pics of her kissing Natsuo in her hotel room ... that the anime covers more than 60 ch's of the manga in just 12 ep's means they skipped over a LOT of the story

Including the cowboy bebop arc where faye valentine appears. Apparently that is what the manga readers had been waiting to see animated - the only good part of the manga. Ofc they are now disappointed and will tell you to read the manga. Ps. They do it all the time but not as much as those LN readers. Particularly the isekai ones.

I read the manga after watching the anime. And while they do skip over parts, I think they kept most important stuff. They only had to change a couple of lines in the anime to keep the story consistent. The manga just adds some more characters/character development and some more drama. But overall good adaptation imo. And the OP was pure blessing.

@ _Elvv_ ... I can agree with that ...that overall the anime was a good adaptation of the story ... and it will be interesting to see if they do any follow-on seasons, because the story does go a LOT farther
