I've recommended this half-length anime to people multiple times for its creativity, staff and humour, but getting any episode from more than a couple months ago can prove difficult for those who don't use IRC. This is a collection of every episode that has aired to date (1-95) in 720p with translations by Cr... I mean, HorribleSubs. Having watched all these episodes myself, I'd say it's one of their better-done shows, and they have relatively few problems.
It's a loose adaptation of the manga *Shounen Ashibe*, and as such, shares some of the same material with the first anime adaptation made in the early 90s. A good amount of the episodes written for this new version seem to be original and are quite creative, but it still manages to maintain the original's story. I can't be assed to write a summary myself, so here's Crunchyroll's:
>A comedy manga, "Shonen Ashibe," that follows the friendship between baby spotted seal Goma-chan and first-grade student Ashiya Ashibe. First serialized in 1988 and adapted to anime in 1991, the adorable Goma-chan created a massive following and a spotted seal boom. This spring, Goma-chan returns to "Tentere Anime." A cute, pleasant story of Ashibe and Goma-chan and their unusual school and their neighbors. Sometimes endearing, sometimes bizarre, it's a fun anime for the whole family!
It's directed by Nobuhiro Kondo with series composition and many of its scripts by Toshimitsu Takeuchi. The two previously worked together quite a bit on *Keroro Gunsou*, which was directed by Kondo from the third season onward. Some other contributors you might know are Kento Shimoyama, Kimiko Ueno, Hiroko Fukuda, Masashi Sogo and Shinichi Watanabe. Even more interesting is all the promising new talent and new names who pop up throughout its run.
**If you'd like a taste of the show before downloading the whole thing, some of my recent favourites that require little context are 83, 84, 88, 89, and 91.**
