Subs: [RH] 1-10 / [Dekanai] 11-13 (all modified/re-timed for BD, edited/improved, op/ed/signs added where missing) Raws: MisakaMisaka@天雪自购 (JP Blu-ray) Nothing too notable as far as this encode goes. Light filtering/de-banding/etc. The production resolution was 720p and I didn't re-sample the 1080p encode so this one is probably the better looking of the two. With regards to the subs, a few episodes had some additional errors that have been fixed (relative to the REMUX), and I managed to improve maybe a quarter of them to where I was satisfied but my work schedule is intruding on my anime schedule so this will have to do for now. If anyone finds any big errors leave a comment or pm me on IRC. There were places where content was added to/removed from the BD compared to the broadcast which the source subs were made for. I think I caught most of the cases, but if I didn't I'd appreciate a heads up. Thanks!

Could you post some examples of your typesetted signs, OP/ED, modified subs? Cheers.

Nice, thanks for the release.
The subs should have more vertical padding, they're a bit awkward to read when they're that low and I feel like they should be bigger too. Many dialogue lines are also multi-line when they don't need to be. I've only seen the first episode so far but that's my biggest complaint so far apart from some of the typesets scenebleeding for a couple frames.
^ This. But besides those small issues, it's not too bad. Thank you. :)
In my opinion is watchable, but is far from a good quality release that this show is deserving in blu-ray.

Anyway, this is my very first attempt, so we're basically lucky that opening an episode doesn't cause whatever device you're watching it on to self-destruct. With that said, I appreciate any and all feedback. With regards to the padding, the original Chyuu subs had 40px of vertical margin. Sampling from 720p to 1080p and then back from 1080p to 720p must've halved the physical margin to 20px. Sorry about that. As far as the actual content of the subs, sentence structure, line breaks, etc., it was outside the scope of what I intended to do with this release to completely re-do and fix them from the ground up. I took the available TV fansubs, re-timed to the BD and fixed any errors/glaring issues that I came across while doing it. With most of that coming in ep 11-13 since I had to take the Dekanai mega 3-part episode and break it down into 3 separate eps so I spent a ton more time working with those 3 than the rest. Anyway, if the loss of vertical padding/font size makes it unwatchable, it's no trouble for me to link a zip with modified subs and/or a patch. Here's 2 images, both with the same 40px vertical padding as the source subs, and img 1 is font size 54, img 2 is 56. https://i.postimg.cc/QC9GMcqy/test1.png https://i.postimg.cc/hvkFQhyP/test2.png Any bigger than that and it will start affecting the wrapping and new-line placement (which I don't plan on fucking with).
Yes, go with 56pt and although it's not really ideal you could just remove all the linebreaks from the script on the dialogue then find a good left/right margin value, and the players will make line breaks happen automatically at least it will be a lot better than how it is currently with some very awkward line breaks like this one... ![linebreak](https://my.mixtape.moe/luqwdg.jpg)

Yea, I have no idea what they were thinking for some of it. Maybe it was automated and they didn't double check. Because of the large amount of scenes with dialogue like this: ``` - I feel sleepy, I think I'll take a nap\N - No! Maestro needs to slap dat ass! ``` It'd be hard to just wholesale replace them. I actually considered doing exactly what you described, but their use of the above format when 2 people are speaking precludes it from being an easy change.

Here's a zip with the changes we've talked about, which are: ``` 1. All "\N" removed unless they are in a line where 2 people are speaking. 2. Vertical margin changed to 40px; 3. Left/Right Margin 35px. 4. Font size increased to 56 ``` I ended up taking your suggestion. Using the regex select/find/replace I was able to make it avoid the double dialogue lines. Anyway, drop the contents of this zip into the dir with the .mkv's and these subs should supersede the ones from the release. http://files.mdcx.io/subs/[mdcx]%20Fate%20Extra%20Last%20Encore%20-%20Improved%20Subs.zip Let me know if there's anything b0rked with these :P
Maybe you could improve the timing https://doki.co/support/doki-timing-guide/
@mdcx thank you for your work! Also i realise that are a bit off the time of the subs at the ED? Also i feel the subs are bit faster than the dialogs / sound.
I'm sorry to say this, but these scripts are terrible. Darsh is working on a BD using Chyuu and Kooritsukai's scripts which are vastly superior. I have a hard time understanding what they're even saying most of the time with these subs. I appreciate your work, but I think you would be best-served helping Darsh if you still want to contribute to making a BD of this show.
if is possible, can you share only subs? please :)
@BlessMeDaddy777 do you have a general time table when Darsh will be finished with those BD's?
I'd say soon, i'm almost done.
@aHalokid I'm doing my best to finish the project and the general problem i have is constant real life work that is pulling me down.
can please upload file again ?
