Behold! Shonan Junai Gumi OVA (aka Young GTO) for your delinquent entertainment! About this project ------------------ Well, this one was a tough decision. There are no good quality sources available for the audio/video and the VHS tapes are obscure as all hell so, I had to use what's available and make the best of it. The raws are far from ideal but they get the job done for now, and since the only english translated version was hardsubbed, this one aims to replace it. Also, if a better source pops up, I'll promptly do a version 2. What's done ----------- As always every single line of dialogue, signs (one or another minor thing might be missing, my bad). Episodes 1 to 4 were done using the PDSG/Sentosha fansub that was good for most part, with some tweaks done to the overall script. Episode 5 was a real pain in the butt... The translation by HaRDy was a hot mess with a lot of sentences that didn't made any sense whatsoever so I had to do pretty much all of the lines from scratch, using what I could salvage and heavily using the original translated manga as reference. So taking all that in consideration, the translation was the best I could do with my limited skills and common sense. As always, errors might still be present, even after I proofread everything twice. The timing was pretty easy considering all else. What's not done --------------- Everything has been done for this one. It just needs a better source, that's all!
