The first part of our Christmas gift to the community. This is a dual-audio release of *Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st,* featuring the elusive in-character commentary track in addition to the main audio, with scripts heavily scrubbed from Commie's (for the main track) and Ron's (for the commentary track), which were in turn derived from the Blu-ray subs and Autism's translation, respectively. Compared to the source scripts, the typesetting has been completely redone, and the timing (for the main track; I mostly left the commentary track's timing alone) and dialogue have been significantly edited. The raws for this release were taken from Doki's latest release, using Hi10p video and FLAC audio, except for the commentary audio, which comes from Ron's version of the commentary and is simply AAC. The chapters track was lifted from a release with no listed group that was simply tagged [アニメBD]. Our homepage: https://cassiopeiasubtitleworks.wordpress.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/cassiopeiasubs Scripts are also hosted on [GitHub](https://github.com/cswsunset/cassiopeia/tree/master/Magical%20Girl%20Lyrical%20Nanoha). The hex string at the end of the torrent name identifies the git revision of the scripts that were used; it is not a CRC. Updates to the scripts may appear on GitHub periodically; new torrents most likely won't be generated, though, until the final franchise batch after everything is complete... though we are considering doing a Full HD release later, and if that happens, it will be based on the latest version of the scripts at the time. Compare the git revision in the torrent name to the latest revision on GitHub to see if newer scripts are available. Have a happy Christmas Eve!

StrikerS is on the back burner. I have an incomplete version of the first half on my GitHub, though it's not even close to being ready for release. Part of the reason I'm finding excuses to do other things is that I'm scrubbing Coldlight's version, which is genuinely awful. Every time I look at the scripts, I catch another translation mistake, and it's honestly wearing me down. I recently came across some written Japanese scripts, and now I'm considering just scrapping Coldlight's TL and doing my own TL from scratch (honestly, the reason I scrub instead of doing my own TL from scratch is because my hearing isn't good enough for me to be confident flying solo... but with a written Japanese script, I think I could do a decent job of it). I've already been throwing around the idea of doing Reflection (also half-done, but not on GitHub yet) or the Sound Stages before going back to StrikerS. Lord knows the Sound Stages need a proper sub at least.

And about the dual-audio thing, I'm just going to copy-paste what I wrote to someone on the Movie 2nd comment's page: """AFAIK, there’s no English audio for the movies. Dual-audio here means the main audio and the commentary audio. The in-character commentary, by the way, is so worth it. It’s excellent, not too many Nanoha fans have listened to it, and I’m really happy that more people are going to be exposed to it now. The reason I’m calling attention to this release being dual audio is that I’m fairly sure that I’m the first person to ever release a subbed version with both audio tracks. All other dual-audio versions I’ve found are raws, and the only other subbed release of the commentary track I’ve seen is Ron’s, which is a RAR file containing the ASS, MKA, and font along with instructions on how to mux them yourself."""
