Pretty happy with the quality of this episode. As this episode was somewhat musical-inspired, I took it upon myself to translate all the songs and sing-song dialogue in this episode to rhyme in English while still retaining their original meanings. Can't promise it'll happen again going forward. Being a musician makes these music episodes way more fun and easier to translate, though!
I really liked this episode, too. The atmosphere is captured perfectly and the pacing is extremely well-done, plus it manages to juggle multiple storylines at once. In some ways, I almost saw how this could have led to Reiko Yoshida later writing K-On, as well as the similarities in the tone of her writing. It's certainly interesting either way.
