@solidsnake My priority is to work on another of the 60+ volumes GJM still has left to release so creating batch releases are fairly low-prio in that scenario.
And, in the case of this show, it should have zero changes from volume-release to batch, you're more than safe downloading the whole lot and calling that a batch release download, for all purposes.
All six volumes in 10 days... wouldn't it have been better to just wait and release everything as a batch, rather than individual volumes? Since batches are generally preferred due to seeder/leecher convenience and whatnot. Plus you even say it should have zero changes if there was a batch.
I'd rather allow for potential issues to be reported than put out a batch and find out something's wrong with it. Keyword in my comments about a batch is SHOULD.
The last thing you want to have to do for a batch is need to update it. Defeats the purpose of it being the final result.
(Also, it's not very fun from a workflow standpoint to work on 12 episodes back to back without putting anything out)
I dunno, I usually find quite a few very minor mistakes in all sorts of batches. As you said, it depends on reports. People typically don't bother to report the very small stuff anyway, so you can never be certain when putting out a batch.
Different strokes for different folks. I actually prefer doing batches for everything, unless maybe the BD is not yet available in its entirety.
