Dragon Ball Super US Blu-ray Part 1/2/3/4/5 + Textless Opening/Endings
Main Credits
Video: 1-65 (USBD) by KaiDubs (Thanks to jdcox215 for providing Part 5 [53-65] BDMV. I no longer had the files and haven’t bought the BD yet.)
Audio: 1-26 English (USBD) from iAHD, 27-65 English (USBD) & 1-65 Japanese (USBD) by KaiDubs
Q: Why are you using iAHD instead of your own audio for 1-26? A: Blu-rays Part 1 & 2 used the Japanese Opening for whatever reason (Including on the NCOPs for Pt 1/2) and English came in Part 3 onward. iAHD took the time to do a re-release of their own once Part 3 hit to update Part 1/2 with English Opening Audio. So that’s what I’ve opted for it in this release. Not really much point in doing the same work myself when it’s already been completed.
Q: Why is there a cover song on the Textless OP/ED 3? A: Before I did releases myself, I followed KamiFS and then on weeks they missed or were notably late, I found EXIL3. EXIL3 used these covers (by Mark de Groot) and unknowningly, I thought they were official to some degree. I thought maybe they were a different region or for some stupid reason Funimation had two versions. I already had the cover injected in and I took the time to subtitle it. So… it’s there. If your a Mark de Groot fan, rejoice. If not… then… well… ignore it.
Subtitles Tracks
- Songs & Signs (Dub) by KaiDubs
- Closed Captions (Dub) by KaiDubs [1-19, 53-65] (Funimation), 20-52 from annyomous fan donation. (Ripped from CRiMSON/W4F releases + They subtitled the previews)
All typesetted by KaiDubs and replaced opening/ending subtitles
- Crunchyroll (RH) by RickyHorror (1-65), Typesetted by KaiDubs to match above subtitles for uniformity. Also Opening & Ending subtitles have been replaced with fansubs.
- Simmons (Blu-ray Subs) by Steven J. Simmons, Subtitles on Funimation Blu-ray (1-65)
- Signs & OP (Blu-ray Subs) by Steven J. Simmons, Same as Track 4, only covers the Opening and any Signs. Does not cover Ending Song. (1-26)
27-39 [Part 3 Blu-ray] have no signs tracks as there are no signs. 40-65 [Part 4/5 Blu-ray] have a signs track but there is no signs expect for 48/52/53. Funimation just left a dummy/empty track on the episodes were signs were void for whatever reason… Track only covers Signs, does not cover Opening nor the Ending. I skipped adding in the tracks expect for 48/52/53 since the rest were just empty tracks serving no purpose.

This is an awesome upload. Good work. Only gripe i have is with the audio format. I wish it was FLAC instead of TrueHD. Wouldn’t play properly on my phone

Try VLC. I believe VLC can play TrueHD on Mobile.

after researching about the current market share of hardware-decoders able to decode 10bit AVC, I decided to stick with the 8bit release.
10 bit releases need to be HEVC since AVC 10bit hardware decoders are basically NON-EXISTENT worldwide.
i’m just a simpleton, but my advice is to stick to the industry-pattern otherwise the utility of the files gets seriously compromised for current and near-future (7 years) use, since only powerful desktop CPUs are able to software-decode AVC high10
