8 gb is too big but thanks for subs
Thanks for the subs... Downloading...
Great work! Also, is it possible to get the .ass/.srt subs? Would like to try this on other raws as well :) Sankyuu!
shitty subs, no thanks
Lmao @ those saying thanks for such a bad subs. Don't say thanks to bullshit releases please, it make you look like you're useless.
If the subs are: https://subscene.com/subtitles/detective-conan-zero-the-enforcer/english/1864313 Fugget it, they seem to have been done by a bot... Ex: Cafe "Poirot" is rendered as cafe "Polo". Syntax, grammar & context out of this world... I've started editing with AegiSub but a long haul ahead; timing is not bad though.
Timing doesn't fit well and google translation. "What did you shoot" LMAO... Even the intro has bad translation...
Do NOT download this if you want English subs. There are not English subs. There are Emgl1shitssubs.
Quite bad speedsubs. The last several minutes are not even translated. One should wait for better ones.
Wait for Kienai, they're well underway already and they actually have a HUMAN BEING translating.
AI's may take over many jobs in the future. But fansubbing? No fucking way LOL.
Well, gotta agree that most parts of the translation are wrong, but it's better than nothing
I'd argue that if most parts are wrong, then it's not better than nothing, it's WORSE than nothing, because you'll be misled. Seriously, just wait for a real sub.
What sarachikorita says is spot-on. Besides, it's not as if your choice is "this or nothing", because Kienai is working on it. You just need to have patience. I always hope people realize that, despite people's excitement to see a new movie when it comes out, it still takes time for an almost 2 hour-long movie to be properly translated. This is one of the reasons why official releases of Japanese movies don't premiere in English speaking countries for several months after it comes out in Japanese theaters. As fansubbers, we have to wait until we have access to the movie to translate i.e. when the movie gets released on DVD/Blu-ray. This movie was only released in such formats on October 3. Therefore, the fact that Kienai (with me as the translator/typesetter) has the movie over 50% complete only 4 weeks after it became available is already pretty good in my opinion. Especially considering the fact that this movie has a lot of details on the arrangement of the national and regional branches of Japanese police, all the divisions of each, as well as several Japanese laws. All of that requires research, knowledge, and work to make it understandable to English-speaking viewers. So if you really want to enjoy watching the movie, wait for Kienai to finish it. Otherwise, you can ruin the excitement you get from a first viewing by watching this version that was most likely simply ran through Google Translate.
I'm sure with how things have gone down in the past, people have given up on the "real" fansubbers (M-L, Baaro, Kienai - and Baaro doesn't really do movies, since that would mean *I* would have to translate, and translating two hours of Conan without any assistance would melt my brain). Understand: Computers cannot yet competently translate this level of Japanese into English. You need a skilled translator, well-versed in the language (or otherwise two people working together, both of whom speak both languages, one better in the one, one better in the other). This sub can't provide that. Even Baaro can't provide that. But Kienai *can*, and Kienai *is*, and Kienai *will*.
dear @jmaeshawn i'll wait for you and Kienai subs for as long as it takes, you can't imagine how happy i got when i read that you are translating it thank you so so so much i'm more excited than ever! :D thank you for your hard work i really appreciate it <3
any websites where i can find the good eng .srt subs when they are released ?
