Synopsis

A drama based on a true story about a girl who traces her father’s life as a Japanese orphan in China after being separated from his family after WWII. Kido Hisae, decides to study in China where she discovers her father’s painful experience and the love of his foster mother. She gets to know her father’s foster family and learns the importance of human bond regardless of nationality and generation. –NHK
