[**Encode Comparison**](http://compare.bakashots.me/compare.php?setId=3517)
**Notes:**
This encode retains the native film grain of the remastered movie footage.
Other than some very very light dehaloing, no other filtering was applied.
Unfortunately, like Slayers Great, there is significant cropping in the source.
R1 English audio was synced and muxed in from the DVD AC3 track.
Subs were taken from *KgOlve* with further touch-ups based on sub-styling by *Macros74*,
and edits by myself replacing certain terms and the literal magic translations with their true spell titles consistent
with the nomenclature referenced by the [**KanzakaDex**](http://kanzaka.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Spells) & [**Inverse.org**](http://www.inverse.org/e/bkg/magic/cats.shtml).
**Examples:**
*Freeze Bullet* → *Freeze Brid*
*Vibration Shot* → *Dam Brass*
*War of Demonic Invasion* → *Koma War*
BD extras included.

To my knowledge there were 2 DVD releases: An original 4:3 release and a *"Remastered"* widescreen version
which was cropped like the BD. See [*here*](https://www.amazon.com/Slayers-Gorgeous-Artist-Not-Provided/dp/B00018WMQG) *(Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1)*.
Nope, see [*this screenshot*](http://i58.fastpic.ru/big/2013/1210/e6/9033873856cb6e43e251f73c920dbfe6.png) of the original 4:3 DVD from the intro 6 seconds in, and compare it to both the 16:9 DVD and BD.
Both parts of the sky and ground are cut off.
