Subs are fine.
Thank you for translating the first episode. I was afraid noone would translate High Score Girl as it is not really popular. Hope you continue translating the upcoming episodes!
It would be nice if future releases were marked with an [anon] tag or something for easier search.
Don't put other people's tags in your title unless you're uploading one of their releases. This is your release.
Strange that I haven't seen anyone here yet complaining about this being 3D.
[SA18HD] subs when?
Thanks for the release. 1080p version?
"Strange that I haven’t seen anyone here yet complaining about this being 3D." With that artstyle its okay to use 3d in my opinion

a n o n n o n a o n a n n a n o GRANDO SPONSA, TOKYO DAY, OH CHRISTMAS! Just watched it, thanks for subbing. Great stuff. It's like a love letter to Capcom. Well, it had the 30th anniversary collection commercial too. BTW on the weak kick translation, the short/forward/roundhouse kick nomenclature is still in use and probably more appropriate for the time as that was how the buttons were labeled, but just IMO
Thanks for subbing, they were pretty amusing too.
Thank you so much.
Well seeing as no one is complaining, it's pretty sad that my favorite series got the 3D treatment. It's not that bad, but it could be better...
I'll bite... I normally don't mind 3D anime, but this one didn't just get the 3D treatment - it got a SHITTY 3D treatment.
Thank you. Hope you continue.
CGI actually is utilized pretty well here. I typically hate 3D anime, but the faces here are still in 2D and look pretty good. You definitely notice the CGI when there's motion, but thankfully the character motion is fairly limited and it's inter-cut with shots of the game screens, so it's easy to forget you're looking at 3DCG while watching if you don't focus too hard on it, which is a good thing, for sure. Honestly, the characters being in 3DCG probably allows the animation team to put most of the focus of the animation into the games themselves, which seems like the main focus of the series, anyway... so if that's the case, I'd definitely take more accurate game animation over better looking character animation.
