Since this band is not well known on the general public I decided to collect and share the albums I have to preserve them on the internet for everyone to download. I hope if someone has more albums and is interested into completing the list, please upload the content you have!
This band is pretty well known around the J-Fusion listeners(just like Casiopea) because of the complex and catchy songs and the use of the EWI(first it was the Lyricon). The band was first known as The Square but because of the name being used already, they decided to be T-Square.
The band has 2 eras which are acknowledge by the fans, the first era is Takeshi Itoh's one which was the lead member and EWI player for the band on its first steps and he also was part of the composing process of famous songs for the band which were used on F-1. The second era is the most well known and is Masato Honda's one which was the replacement for Itoh when he decided to pursue a solo Carrer after coming back on 2000.
Honda's era is pretty well known because of the style of the band being more jazzy and because of Masato being a brilliant sax player who had amazing skills as a composer and as a player by doing incredible solos on EWI and sax.
Nowadays, the band's formation is more like its first steps rather than T-Square with Takeshi Itoh as the lead player and Masahiro Andoh(Guitarist) as the main composer for the band. while other members of the band which were primarily part of the Honda's era are pursuing solo careers or on a point close to retirement.
Still, the fans also separate each ''era'' based on the band name used on the releases, for example: THE SQUARE era, T-SQUARE era, T-SQUARE & FRIENDS, T-SQUARE Plus,Trio The Square, etc.
