Sigh, hi-res is not the best, it is a marketing push. If you are just a listener; mp3 192-320 is enough; if you are a lossless saver, then basic flac 5-level/wav is enough. And you can’t down-rip hi-res flac to cd flac properly.
I seriously hope folks look up facts (not pseudo-science and stupid theories) and not the conjecture of a casual and save up and invest in a great pair of at least a valued $110 pair of earphones or sound system with a DAC if you seriously love music.
I’m not sure if it’s just me or if this rip is also a flawed rip like the previous FLAC upload:
Disc 2 tracks 09 and 10 were not ripped properly. Track 09 should be 3:19 long, but it’s only 3:09 in this rip.
Track 10 began with 09’s last 10 seconds.
Might be a wide issue on all the prints if that’s the case as I am seeing others with the same time length otherwise may want to just grab the Hi-RES version and down sample it. https://nyaa.si/view/1039936
On the Hi-RES the fade out on it doesn’t come in until 3:09 ending at 3:19 with the next track no issues. Unsure about it if it’s the same with CD version (I ain’t gonna dl it just to find out) if it ends upruptly then you know your answer
Its not an error. The tracks are meant to ‘fade’ in from day to night without a real fade in/out. If you listen to them back to back Track 9 actually degrades in volume in the last 3-4 seconds and pseudo-fades in. Its pretty much like that in the game anyway. I"m not sure why this was handled differently between the two releases.
Apparently the disc 2 tracks 9-10 has that playback error, Procyon Studio is aware of this problem and is offering replacement disc to Japanese addresses with proof of purchase: www.procyon-studio.co.jp/special/xenoblade2/inquiry.html. Replacement is eligible for those who purchased the normal edition or premium 6CD edition, the USB version is not covered, unfortunately. The 96khz/24bit and 44khz/16bit digital formats don’t have this issue.

thanks for a cd rip and not hi res garbage

Be patient with initial d/l speeds. Initial seeding takes time, thus please stick around when done.

@ap1234 You can down sample those hi-res to 16 bit / 44.1 kHz yourself. yare yare daze
