"Mano Youko may seem like a typical 16-year-old high school girl, who is athletic, pretty, and boy crazy. She lives in a nice house with her mother Sayoko and her grandmother Madoka. But once you get past that, Youko is hardly normal. Many of the female members of the Mano family have been Mamono hunters, fighting evil spirits and demons throughout history. Youko learns that she was able to escape an earlier attack because her powers have been manifesting, and that now she is indeed the 108th generation Mamono hunter." (AniDB) Sort of like a slightly ecchi anime version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but this was created first :) Episodes are of varying length (~28 to ~43 minutes). Episode 4 is the music special. Video notes: Removed rainbows and shaking. Very light dehaloing and aa. Light denoising (almost none on episode 1 because of varying noise/grain levels between scenes). Made an exception and resized (to 640x480), since cropping was too inconsistent between episodes. Subtitle notes: Subtitles didn't need too much editing this time, just added some colors and fixed some typos. Retimed all song lyrics and positioned signs (with movement where necessary). Other notes: As usual no dual audio, but I added the ADV commentary track for episode 1 since it has some interesting history. The soundtrack varies generally from meh to good but the last ending song in episode 6 is great. Clean ED's were only available for episodes 5 and 6, since ED 1-4 songs are included in the music special. -X
