![Cover](https://i.imgur.com/LXaPRNo.png) ### Synopsis Rentt Faina, a twenty-five-year-old adventurer, has been hacking away at monsters for a decade. However, without much talent for the job, Rentt finds himself stuck hunting Slimes and Goblins for meager amounts of coin every day. Little does he know, all this is about to change when he comes across a seemingly undiscovered path in the Labyrinth of the Moon's Reflection. What awaits him at the end of the path, however, is neither treasure nor riches, but a legendary dragon that wastes no time swallowing him whole! Waking up a short time later, Rentt finds himself not quite dead, but not very alive either— He is nothing more than a pile of bones! Armed with nothing but his trusty sword, tool belt, and ghoulish new looks, Rentt sets off on his quest as a newly reborn Skeleton to achieve Existential Evolution, hoping to one day return to civilization with a more human form. Will Rentt succeed, or will the labyrinth consume him for the rest of his un-death...? *(Taken from J-Novel Club)* ### Genre Action, Adventure, Fantasy ### MyAnimeList https://myanimelist.net/manga/109947/Nozomanu_Fushi_no_Boukensha --- The EPUB has been "tinkered" with. More undead MCs, nice.

The eBook of volume 1 was released 6 days ago, and Part 3 of Volume 2 was just released today, so, 2-3 months, give or take. That's for the eBook to be published, because it usually takes them 1 month from finishing a volume to actually getting the eBook out. If you're really desperate, you can always buy a J-Novel Club membership, premium or normal, and you can read the prepub for it.
@Exilon vol.2 ebook is slated for July 17 @Kitzoku Actually, JNC's ebooks are released 3 weeks after the final part of each volume, not 1 month.

@DoubleMangekyo Oh, it's 3 weeks? I was just ballparking an estimate based on my memory, at least I was close, lol.
In what way was the epub tinkered with? Just removing metadata?

Removing metadata, cleaning some stuff up, removing some pages, and making sure that it's actually 100% compatible with the EPUB standard even after removing the DRM. Nothing too major, just thought that it'd be good to mention just in case.
@Kitzoku Just wanted to make sure you didn't do anything too crazy. Downloading now. Thanks for the upload.
Actually, I just tried uploading it to google play book but it just couldn't be uploaded there, perhaps there's something missing or perhaps there's something that shouldn't be there. I don't know much about ebook stuff so I don't know what's the problem here. So perhaps, if you may, you could take some other ebook as format reference just in case. Sure, I tried it on microsoft edge and it works well, that means it's already readable ebook, it's just I can't bring myself to install more application on my phone just to read one or two ebooks that aren't compatible with google book format. Thanks anyway.

Hm, that's interesting. I ran it through the epub standards verifier (Which is what Google play uses) and fixed the errors it was throwing. So by all means it *should* work. I normally advice against using Google plays reader, but if you already got your entire library there, I can understand not wanting to switch. I'll try and see what I can do.
@zaimokuza @Kitzoku I finally got it to work on Google Play after converting every images into JPG. Google Play is supposed to follow the EPUB standard up to at least the 3.0 version minus a few advanced feature, and it's supposed to include PNG support... actually Google support stats that PNG is a valide image format, so I don't know what's going on... I'm pretty sure I got EPUB including PNG to work on it so I really don't know. I also changed every text files' end-of-line format from Windows' (CR+LF) to Linux's (LF) format, but I can't tell how much it helped as by itself it wasn't enough to fix the problem. Oh, and I added a <cover> balise to the content file. Pretty sure it didn't break the EPUB though. BTW, as you advise against Google Play reader, what would you advise for?

@Neofaucheur That, that just sounds so odd, I quite honestly don't even know how something like that would happen. While I do advise against Google Play (Mainly because of it doing random quirks like the thing that you just happened into) I don't actually use a EPUB reader myself, so I can't really recommend anyting from proper experience. I did go through a bunch of EPUB readers about a year ago, to try and find an app I could recommend to people, just so I wasn't just spouting "Google Play is bad, find a better reader lol". And what I settled on was "Lithium: EPUB Reader", as it seemed to have the most decent features. However, I don't know if it'll have everything you'd want from a reader. I personally mainly just use a PDF reader, because my collection started out with PDFs, so I've just kept it that way since forever.
Can u also upload In Another World With A Smartphone Vol.8? If you that will much appreciated :)
