Haruhi Fujioka is a bright scholarship candidate with no rank or title to speak of—a rare species at Ouran High School, an elite academy for students of high pedigree. When she opens the door to Music Room #3 hoping to find a quiet place to study, Haruhi unexpectedly stumbles upon the Host Club. Led by the princely Tamaki, the club—whose other members include the “Shadow King” Kyouya, the mischievous Hitachiin twins, and the childlike Haninozuka “Honey” and his strong protector Mori—is where handsome boys with too much time on their hands entertain the girls in the academy.

However, thanks to her convincingly masculine appearance, her naturally genial disposition toward girls, and fascinating commoner status, she is soon promoted to full-time male host and plunged headlong into a glitzy whirlwind of elaborate cosplays, rich food, and exciting shenanigans that only the immensely wealthy Ouran Host Club can pull off.

The video here is much nicer than my old 480p download, but there are no subs for the English audio. This show has a ton of signs than need subs for the English dub. It’s unfortunate.

May I kindly ask anyone who has downloaded this, which one has better video quality: this or the MTBB release?
The 1080p is tempting me to switch… even if I know that it would be upscaled nonetheless.

realizing this is a 3+ years old post
you will not find this release in 1920 x 1080 anywhere. it is unnecessary, as it is ALREADY in 1080p (1440 x 1080). the original was in 4x3 format (full screen), NOT 16x9 (widescreen).
also, THIS upload was likely from the upconverted Blu-Ray, and not the remastered one. so (theoretically), not as good as some other uploads. although honestly, all the 1080p ones i have seen so far look pretty close to the same quality, at least, relative to their file sizes (i tend to stick to releases that are around 200-300MB per episode).
@Coraline: if you want Eng Subs, Prof does an “okay” job with them, though he messed a few up. luckily, i uploaded shared the fixes! https://nyaa.si/view/1257752
