This is a 10 bit HEVC / x265 reencode of [this](https://nyaa.si/view/913654 "source release") 255.2 gb release of Legends of the Galactic Heroes, of which 111 gb is actually used in this release (the source release includes movies, as well as other tie-in series). Audio is reencoded to AC3. Because of this, I have linked two sets of comparison images; one from early in the show, and one from late in the show, so as to give an idea of what quality you can expect throughout. Obviously there are some reductions in visual quality compared to the original in all my uploads, these screenshots should help you decide whether the reduction in quality is worth my far lower file sizes. While Reinhard climbs the ranks of the Empire with the aid of his childhood friend, Siegfried Kircheis, he must fight not only the war, but also the remnants of the crumbling Goldenbaum Dynasty in order to free his sister from the Kaiser and unify humanity under one genuine ruler. Meanwhile, on the other side of the galaxy, Yang—a strong supporter of democratic ideals—has to stand firm in his beliefs, despite the struggles of the FPA, and show his pupil, Julian Mintz, that autocracy is not the solution.
