Because its soo jarring when I hear things like Onee-chan yet am reading Sister, etc. By watching anime I learned about Japanese culture and the way they address people, formally and informally. I like to see that represented in the subs I watch. Call me weeaboo if you like, because I already do. I like my subs to resemble the original Japanese dub, not a butched, americanised hatchet job.
