I'm working to put together a complete discography for Ryuichi Sakamoto, or at least as complete as I can---so far I'm up to forty-two albums. But in the mean time I wanted to release _something,_ so I chose one of my favorite albums from the collection I'm putting together.
_Summvs_ is the fifth collaboration between Ryuichi Sakamoto and German muscian Carsten Nicolai, better known as Alva Noto, outside of his film scores. _Summvs_ is a fairly experimental, abstract ambient album. It's dissonant, deconstructed, minimalist, and sonically built atop a wobbling foundation. However none of this is to say the album is bad; as I said, it's one of my favorites. But the album is very much abstract ambience.
If you like artists such as Ametsub, TVC15, or Zaion then you will probably like _Summvs._ As always my friends, enjoy the music!
