i’ve checked episode 5.
the opening credits is at an extremely low bitrate. it’s a feature. hehe.
the rest after that is normal.
the mistake is in the zone parameter. instead of 0.5, i might have typo’d it to 0.0. you can see it in media info.
i use zones to save on filesize. op and ed is usually 0.5 bitrate factor, so half size of what it would come out at crf15.
why? because it’s the same every episode. the ncoped is full quality.
you can fix this with mkvtoolnix by splitting the op and remuxing it with the ncop version.
maybe i should make a patch or batch script.

this is a wonderful show, one of the best anime of its type yet. the art, characters and story are all first rate and flow naturally and you get really to know the characters and care about them I hope we will always see treasures like this now and then..thanks so much for sharing this. I am curious to see if it has the subs i love from one set i have ...i have only 1 - 10 of it so i hope i can finally get the last two to match but thanks again.. great choice.
