For BDMVs, how are you guys watching it other than manually going into the STREAM folder and watching each ep individually? Are you able to watch it with a menu and all as if it was the actual blu ray disc? Not having any luck researching online...

@nahlij Play it with VLC, go search in YouTube how to play a Blu-Ray or DVD with VLC Media Player and you'll be able to watch it as is. @surume There are very few who would do that, it's not efficient since GD will erase the link, content and account in a very short time.

it's just a shame what the editor does in terms of bluray, a rude upscale. the colors are dull. I had to dare to go out of such bluray in Japan, I understand better the bad note given by the Japanese on these bluray boxes there will be at least Dirty Pair, December 2019 which will have him a job of image restoration

@ShinMugetsu2000 Annoyingly enough, my VLC always crash when I try to open a BDMV on my Macbook Pro, that's why I was looking for another option. I guess its just my laptop.

i use "mpc be" on windows, no problem for macos test KMPlayer or MPV .... VLC it's a joke :p

This upscale isn't bad considering how shitty the us dvd sets were.

I'm not a fan of these upscales. I can gladly watch the old ones just by switching the resolution on my CRT monitor and nothing is lost. I also have doubts about the audio quality of these. My suggestion for everyone here, is to chose a good encode of the JP DVDs for Slayers. For Slayers Next and Slayers Try, you more than welcome to take the JP BDs, since the native resolution is higher than a DVD's ;D

the publisher who laid these "bluray" did not even make the effort to at least made a color correction it's just disgusting, point so much stayed on the dvds and let the upscaling work included in a living room player or your TV, it will do better work than these bluray disgusting I do not have the courage to buy the box "next", my favorite season of the 3 first my money will go in the purchase of the box "Dirty Pair" at the end of the year, where a publisher does not spit in the mouth

Why is the quality on this so bad? It maybe in 1080p but the colour isn't that brighter. It doesn't seem that sharp at all.
